Made to order Iceni coin ring

Please allow up to 3 weeks for this made to order piece, this gives me the time to cast and finish. Your ring will differ slightly from the one pictured as each is completely unique.

Sand cast from my original Iceni silver coin this is a replica in recycled sterling silver attached to a 2mm hammered band, the coin measures approx 1.2cm tall and across. It's been oxidised so you can see the design and texture of the two crescent moons, also makes it look more like the ancient coin it's made from. The original coin is from between 10 and 45 AD, the Iceni were a Celtic tribe inhabiting much of East Anglia, including Norfolk, north Suffolk and north-east Cambridgeshire during the Iron Age and early Roman era. Their most famous ruler was Boudicca or Boudica, who led a revolt against the Romans in AD 60. I love discovering more about our ancient ways and this time period in particular fascinates me. You can wear this to remind you of our old ways, a little piece of history found in the ground. I also have an option to have this as a pendant, please see my other listings.
