Please allow up to 4-5 weeks for this piece to be made and shipped, this gives me the time to individually cast your pendant in recycled sterling silver or 9ct yellow gold and get it fully hallmarked by the Sheffield Assay Office. Pendant only, silver chains and cord necklaces are available to purchase separately, find the listing in the pendant category. The finish on the silver is oxidised to give depth and contrast.

Measures approx 2.9cm tall including the bail and 1.5cm at the widest point. Bail has a 4mm opening for a chain. Weighs around 7g for silver and 8g for gold.

The Zennor Mermaid is a legend from Cornwall. The story of a mysterious, beautiful woman who attended Zennor’s church and captivated a choir boy named Mathy Trewhella with her voice. One day, he followed her to Pendower Cove, where she revealed herself as a mermaid, and they were both lost to the sea. The story is symbolized by an old carved wooden bench-end in Zennor church, which depicts the mermaid. (Shown in the last photo.) This design is inspired by that church carving.
