Whitby Abbey pendant

Measures approx 3.1cm tall including the bail and 2.4cm at the widest point. Bail has a 4mm opening for a chain. Weighs approx 9-10g.

Made from recycled sterling silver with full UK hallmarks on the back from the Sheffield Assay Office. Pendant only, silver chains and cord necklaces are available to purchase separately, find the listing in the pendant category. The finish is oxidised to give depth and contrast.

Each cast is completely unique, no two are exactly the same. This pendant is sand cast from a beautifully carved piece of Whitby jet in my collection from 1867 shown in the last two photos. Whitby holds a special place in my heart and I feel like I have a little part of it with me when I wear this.
