Pendant only, chains sold separately. If you require a chain you can find the option for a 18"-24" long 2mm thick sterling silver belcher chain in the pendant category. Cast in recycled sterling silver and fully hallmarked from the Sheffield Assasy Office. The finish is oxidised to give depth and contrast.

Measures approx 2.5cm tall including the bail and 2.1cm at the widest point. Bail has a 4mm opening for a chain. Weighs approx 8g.

This pendant is cast from a bone gaming counter I found while metal detecting and digging in a field. Bone gaming counters have a long history, with examples found from prehistoric times through to the Roman and Anglo-Saxon periods, where they were used for board games. Early counters were made from a variety of bones from different animals and were carved by hand. I'm not sure how old this one is but I love the pattern and the raw bone texture on the back.
